Thank goodness it is FRIDAY!! We are off to Houston this weekend. Cade was invited to Alexia Adams first birthday party. I will give you a little history here...Alexia's Daddy is Kevin Adams who I have known since Kindergarten. Kevin is like the brother I never had!! Kevin's mom Jean and my mom have been friends as long as Kevin and I so that led to Kevin having his house wrapped from EVERY birthday slumber party I had!! Poor Kevin. Well Kevin and I have tried to keep in touch over the years as best we could and about a year and a half ago I got introduced to Kevin's WONDERFUL FABULOUS BEAUTIFUL SWEET girlfriend Lisa. I have since decided to trade Kevin for Lisa for sure!! hehe Lisa and I bonded over our babies and have become the best of friends. I have actually only met Lisa in person once but it feels like I have known her forever. We are a lot alike in a lot of ways (she will agree with me on this one I am sure). So this weekend Cade and I are headed to Houston to see Kevin, Lisa and Alexia and to help them celebrate Alexia turning one. We can not wait to see that little girl again. Lisa and I hope and pray that Cade and Alexia are as good of friends as Kevin and I have been all these years. Thank you Kevin for sharing Lisa with me and Cade says thanks for sharing Alexia with him!! He is ready to teach her to ride a bike soon!!
