4 the love of Christmas
Thought I would let you know how Christmas goes down in our house.....

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper. I love a wrapped gift but I will admit that when it gets close to time or when I have an odd shaped gift...it goes in a bag.

2. Real tree or Artificial? Fake....all three of them are fake. For goodness sake we live in Texas!!!

3. When do you put up the tree? Always before Thanksgiving. Sometimes the second week in November like this year. Hence the reason I decided to already take it down..the day after Christmas!!

4. When do you take the tree down? Read above. I try to wait til New Year's but this year I had enough!!

5. Do you like eggnog? Ummm a little but I don't love it!!

6. Favorite gift received as a child? I loved my stereo and my tv!!!!

7. Hardest person to buy for? My father-in-law. This year it was a Sear's gift card for him. I am sure that will bring him hours of entertainment!! hehe

8. Easiest person to buy for? Cade of course!!!

9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes we do.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail of course!!

Going to breakfast with Santa
Going to see lights
Christmas pajamas

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? I have always loved Charlie Brown's Christmas

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? This year I have already started for next year...yes I am serious!!!

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Not that I can think of!!

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? I love Sherri's Christmas cookies (along with the rest of Seguin and Houston). I love my Mommy's pumpkin and pecan pie!!!

16. Lights on the tree? White. Always white. Not up for discussion!!

17. Favorite Christmas songs? Amazingly enough Cade loves it when I sing Christmas songs to him!! What a good kid!! I love Jingle Bells!!!

18.Travel at Christmas or stay home? Travel a little but will always be at home for Christmas Eve now that we have Cade!!!!

19. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer? Yep!!

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? A star.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? I like for us to open our family presents on Christmas Eve so there is plenty of room for Santa to come!!!

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Crowds...last minute shopping!! I did 99% of all my shopping online this year!! Yes the UPS man hated me but I saved my sanity for sure!!!

23. Favorite ornament theme or color? Oh yes. For those of you who know me the whole downstairs is only red and white and I LOVE IT!!!! My room tree is a match to our room in golds and burgundies. Cade's tree is a cowboy theme!! I found so many neat ornaments for him after Christmas and I can not wait for his tree next year!!!

24. What do/did you want for Christmas this year? All I wanted this year was to see the smiles on Cade's face!! I got that. Oh and I wanted a BMW but Mike missed the memo!! hehe

25. Which do you prefer: giving or receiving? Giving of course. That's not to say that I don't love the gifts I receive but I really like to give gifts most!!

So there you have it...that is our family Christmas!!!
